Latest update from Festival Flyer
Big up to Bunnyman’s and Moony’s at Bestival. It’s been a while since we praised any food stalls – so let’s put that right. We’ve been spoilt for choice at Bestival … but by far our two favourite meals so far have been from Bunnyman’s and Moony’s. The mark of a great festival meal is that while your eating it you’re enjoying the experience and once it’s gone you feel satisfied and that you’ve had value for money. Bunnyman’s is a simple menu – but a delicious one. Good (no, great) bread, hollowed out and filled with signature chilli…unless you’re brave, stick to the 50/50 mix and still expect a tear in your eye. Topped with soured cream and a wedge of garlic bread this is a real treat. Even for unreconstructed carnivores, Moony’s halloumi-themed fare really hits the spot. That squeaky cheese is treated just right and comes in a variety of different guises. Deep-fried with chips and red slaw is ace… this really was one of the best festival meals we’ve had this year – and we’ve had a LOT!
